A friend of mine, Andreas, comes from a large immigrant family that came to this country from a background of poverty. They couldn't seem to break out of their rut in their own country. But my friend was very determined.
He loved God and had a heart to help other people. One day somebody told him about a job opportunity in a medical center, cleaning medical equipment. He interviewed, had favor, and was hired. The job was on the graveyard shift so there was a lot of downtime, waiting for medical staff to finish so he could clean up. Andreas made the most of his opportunities, watching and learning. He observed especially how the medical technicians did their jobs.
Then one of the assistant technicians took another job. His boss saw how dedicated Andreas had been, so he offered him the medical tech position, he became an assistant technician. A couple of years later the main technician left and Andreas was put in charge.
Then, after a few more years, Andreas came up with the idea of buying his own equipment and offering his medical tech services to all the area hospitals. The only problem with this idea was that Andreas did not have enough money to get started. So he shared his idea with a banker he'd played basketball with at their gym.
"I tell you what," the banker said. "I'll have my bank lend you the money."
Time after time, Andreas found himself in the right place at the right time. God had it already arranged. Today Andreas has a very successful company that is among the leaders in the field.
What happened? He just walked into God's blessings.
God has already released favor into your future.
It's in front of you. He's already released promotion, increase, good breaks. You don't have to worry. You don't have to try to force things to happen. All you have to do is stay faithful and you too will walk into God's blessings.
